It’s been a while since I visited this little space of mine. Everyone’s been doing a recap of their 2012 and envisioning 2013. As for me, I’ve finally learned to let go, and realize that change can actually be good. I don’t feel like getting all sentimental now, so let me just share how I welcomed the 1st day of January. Fellows, I had 2 boo-boos in less than 5 minutes! Beat that! ;)
My family had buffet lunch earlier, and being the cheese monster that I am, I was excited to try out the cheese section.
Boo-boo #1: I used the silver dish label holder to cut cheese! In my defense, there were no utensils nor CUTTERS near the cheese! 4 label holders=4 chunks of cheese. No labels on the label holders as well! Feel na feel ko pa mag-slice!
I actually did not realize that until Boo-boo #2! You know how bread is usually served with Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil?
Boo-boo #2: I got some bread and and saved some space on my plate for my oil & vinegar dip.. Got the white bottle (assuming it was Olive Oil) and poured some on my plate.. Apparently, it was a vase with water!!!
Why would you put vases with no flowers on the bread station? Naka-match pa, 1 bottle este vase beside each Balsamic Vinegar bottle. Diba, they look like those oil bottles naman, hindi lang transparent at walang cork. Hehe. Don’t worry, I realized right away that it was water, and didn’t mix the vinegar to it. ;)
We came for buffet lunch, but the hotel cafe staff was still finishing up the set-up during lunch time. Will post about Acaci Cafe’s food and service soon. :)
